Default Feedback and no sound from rear speakers

I recently replaced the rear speakers on my 06 Ultra with newer stock 2 ohm speakers. I've had the tour pak removed for a while and a quick detach kit on it. When I went to put the tour pak back on the speakers now don't work. The left one has a low feedback and the right makes no sound at all. I tried swapping the old speakers back in and it's doing the same thing. Is there anything I should check that may cause this or help diagnose the problem?

Thanks for any suggestions!

How is your tour pak wiring detached when you took the tour pak off? I'm guessing that connection is where the problem is.

It's through Deutsche connectors as per the walkthrough on this site. It's been working like that for a couple years. That's where I was guessing the problem is, but I can't find any pushed pins or bad connections there. I'm puzzled. Does anyone know if the CB or anything else run through the rear speaker circuit? I saw elsewhere this was the case with the older models.

I had an 06 ultra and I know the intercom was in there somewhere, but if it worked before you unplugged it and now doesn't, I'm wondering if water didn't get into the connector and short the rear channels on the radio. . .

That's a really good question and I'd bet the answer as well. Any hopes it is something repairable or a replace the radio type of answer?

I know Ironcross can fix anything, but first I think you should see if there is a good signal coming through on the radio side of the connector to eliminate that as your problem. I'd pull the individual wires out of the plugs on the radio side of the connector and put them to the pair of speakers that you know work and see if they work without the connector variable.

I just ran the radio diagnostics and it's calling B2021 Rear Speaker Open when everything is connected. I'll try what you suggested, otherwise I think you're on the money with the Iron Cross suggestion. I think my radio has been asking to be replaced as is, this may just put it over the top.
