Default Stumped on Suspension

Just bought a 1999 Ultra Classic. Was going to adjust my air down a bit. Gauge on the dash is reading 60 to 80psi. I also bought the suspension pump today from my local Harley shop. My problem is when I let the air out my gauge reads the same. "the gauge on the dash". I did also notice the front port for the air suspension, it was hard to add air. I don't think it took.

The reading on your dash gauge doesn't make sense! It shouldn't be anywhere near that high, so perhaps it's dead? I also don't understand how an air gauge works on a bike that also has front air. I've never had problems with either end on my bike, owned from new. Your bike should have a voltmeter, air temperature, oil pressure and fuel gauge, no mention that I can see of an air pressure gauge. Has one of those four been replaced?

The air gauge in your fairing is for air temp, not psi unless it has been changed and hooked up to the suspension air lines. Max psi for your shocks should be 35psi if I remember correctly...
