The most comfortable for me is to air it all the way up and then lower it 3 inches with the rebound switch but mostly i just ride on the stops and use the switches to get a good angle for parking.
How do you ride on the stops without your belt rubbing the primary? If I slam mine or even get close to slamming it the belt rubs the top of the primary.

Kozy,
I ride mine in all different types of settings and heights. I have zero issues with my belt rubbing. The pivot point on the swingarm is constant and should not change the geometry of the belt.

I haven't had any issues with that either.....
Kozy, it's all about preference. When I am riding two up, I put it all the way up then lower it an each or so with the rebound. If I am riding solo, I drop it about an inch or so then drop the rebound a little bit. Just enough where it has that perfect bounce haha....
On a side note,, i have the barebones solo as well. With the shotgun shock, I can ride all day without my a$$ hurting at all. However, I never rode with the bike with the barebones on it prior to the shotgun.
I dont think that the fat rear tire softails have the belt rub issues that the skinnies do. I know that some of the guys with skinnies had to change their rear pulley because of it.
