You can set the rebound and the ride height with the Shotgun Shock so it will not "throw you around" in your words. It si a one piece unit. You only have to remove 2 bolts and the shock pivots out of the way to change the oil. There is only 1 air line from the compressor to the shock body. No other air liens which is the reason most air rides end up leaking. I coudl go on and on, but hopefully someone else will chime in as work is supposed to be over for the day.

Well, the quality of craftsmanship and design is impressive, the engineering is extremely well thought out, and the depth of anodizing is incredible.

As Drew points out, the height and dampening can be independently adjusted. Can't compare it to your High Lo, but I can tell you that I am as happy as can be with the Shotgun system. If your High Lo works for you, then you're stylin' and probably don't need one. If the High Lo falls short, you may want to consider dumping it on eBay and getting on the Shotgun express... IMHO it *is* all that.

I ran a Hi Lo for two years. I never realized how it fell short until I got the Shotgun.

Default Shotgunshock installation recquires minimal disassembly

Remove battery, splash guard and original shocks and the shotgunshock is ready for easy installation. If you have the time and proper tools you can do the install.

Default Installing of Shotgunshock recquires that original shocks be removed

The bike must be placed in a position allowing the stock shocks to drop out bottom side of bike, here is a little tip on securing the bike to lift. The seat hole is tapped 1/2 13 and may have a plastic plug inserted. Thread an eyelet into hole so that straps can be secured to eyelets [ [/IMG]
