Ok some updates to give my experience with the install. Shock will be here tomorrow so in preparation, I removed the old ones. Tools and equipment need this far are as follows:

1. Stihl 440
2. 2- 12' PT 2x6"
3. 2- 4' PT 4x4"
4. My new Kobalt ratchet set
5. Asst wrenches
6. Dead blow sledge.

Unconventional? Yes. Effective? Yes. Safe? No. Encorperating a chainsaw into motorcycle repair? Brilliance.

Now, as far as step by step goes...well...I'm simply too lazy to type that all out. Here are some pictures. I'll obviously update as I go.

On a side note:
1. Chainsaws are dangerous.
2. For all you guys that think you are riding around slammed, take the shocks completely off and set the bike down. You'll see slammed! I can't even fit a finger between the tire and fender....funny, dint remember it being this low when I put the fender on...

Nice. there is another 3" of travel possible by the swing arm from when you have 2" lowering shocks on.
