New air ride option from Dr. V-TWIN!
#31
Well I'm not affiliated with anyone here including the V-Twin Dr whoever he is but I can tell you a friend of mine, very good old school mechanic (incidentally) and life long biker installed this system on his 94 softail last year and so far is favorable about it... and in 17 odd years he has tried several softail systems.
From what I understand from him second hand, it takes some fiddling to get the adjustments right, and there is no easy return to where you were when you change it for a passenger for instance, you gotta fiddle again, but the bigger point is that it is all contained in the unit... no extras to figure out how to mount really except the wiring and the switch.
Long term, nobody knows......... but if it fails, you got nothing but a bottomed out suspension on the side of the road. That was my question mark.
