I think the issue is more in the amount of adjustability the shocks have. There are simple air rides that have 1 air cylinder that you fill with air. Therefore the only adjustment is the ride height. Then there are systems that offer Ride height and compression/dampening adjustments. I have had both on my ride and there is a world of difference in the handling characteristics. The SAS offers a ride height adjustment and a dampening adjsutment as does the Platinum Bleed feed system. I rode quite happily on my simple air ride for nearly 3 years so I think it really depends on who you re talking to and what they are trying to sell you. Drew
Well I am looking for a nice comfortable ride and where we ride is very curvey and I don't want to be fighting my bike in them. I also am looking for the easy lowering and raising.
