Default Switch Photos?

Can you guys post some shots of your switch install? I'm having a tough time deciding on where to put these buggers. Coil cover seems like a great place but it's awfully close to the rear head. Do you have any problems with heat and burning your fingers while trying to adjust?

Thanks in advance for the photos!!

You could put them on the back side of the horn cover for easy access.

I won't have pictures for a few more days (bike is in the shop getting tuned). I haven't had a problem with burning my hand on the rear head. When I had the Legend L2 system, I installed the switch on the coil cover. So, when I installed the Shotgun system, I installed 1 switch in that hold, and drilled a 2nd hole for the other switch. Here's the kicker (may be a deal breaker). I had to install the switched "backwards" because of the coil inside the cover. What I mean by "backwards" is that I push them forward (toward the front of the bike) to drop them. I push them toward the back of the bike to air up. I'm going to play with them to see if I can get them turned around somehow.

I put mine on the side console. I love them there and easily accessible.

Did u guys put them on the side (facing the front wheel) of the coil cover or the top of the coil cover (facing the seat)?

I put mine up on the console on top of the tank. I like it up there where I can see them easily. It makes my console look like it has more gadgets.

If you ever cover your bike i recomend you don't put them in your console. My cover hit my switches before and completely drained my battery..NOT GOOD. Next year when i get a new console i will be putting them lower. Maybe as shown above.

Here is Shotguns recommended area for switch install. Which i don't recommend. Sorry Shotgun shock..
