Default Radio Removal

I have a 06 Ultra. I'm thinking about sending the radio out to Iron Cross. The sound from the front speakers is very low and I blow fuses sometimes. Does the radio come out the front or do I have to take the Bat Wing off?

Thank you.

Also HD can kiss my *** for making crap like this.

Batwing comes off and remove the 4 screws holding the radio in place and tilt it down a little to remove....just take your time... it's easy. Just cover your fender with something just in case you drop a tool or something on it.

Get yourself a set of long ball-end hex key sockets from Harbor Freight or your favorite tool place. They make the job really easy.

You may know already, but iron cross has some options as upgrades too. Audio outputs, different LEDs, and others.

I had mine done by them, and it becomes much more vibration resistant.

+1, they make life so much easier when it comes to getting those friggen screws out. More importantly it makes it easier to get them back in again.

+3 While at HF, get two sets: one standard, and one metric as I did.
You will need them both, later.
