Hi everyone, I just purchased a dakota digital speedo/tach from american classics on e-bay.
I know some members haven't had good luck with them,I have ordered several items from them and without incident. I don't know when I can give a review on it because it's only 7* here.Harley wanted $295.00 for a tach,cup,and mount. $378.00 this way.

Interesting, I guess that goes in place of where the fatory spedo is on an '07 WG and requires no additional wiring. How do you like it, is it readable in direct sunlight?

 

Hi gmc. Did you install them? Was it easy? Any comments? It looks very slick and it's nice to know your rpms and the gear you are in.

 

I haven't installed it yet. It's still in transit from american classics. I will post a review when I recieve it.

 

I wish I had known You were looking for one because I have a Brand New Digital Dakota Speedo/Tach in the Box New Never Mounted I would sell for $200.00, it is the Oblong Type not Round, I was going to mount it on My Sporty but was trying to finish the Bike and did not install it, if anyone is interested you can contact me at - nolafishr@yahoo.com

 

Recieved the speedo/tach today finally. Simple plug and play, adjustments were simple to do. Now if it ever warms up I can set up the gear indicator.

 

Comments on quality? Was it easy to install? Pics on the bike?
