I agree with the above sentiment that the slash tips do not look as good as the straight cut. I will also second the statement that some of the previous generation mufflers are too long; my V&H Torquer 450s are about 2” too long as the whole tip extends past the bag.

One of the things I like about the S&S Grand Nationals is that they fit almost flush with the end of the new bags. But unlike the previous Rushmore bikes, I think the new ones look better with 4.5" pipes vs the 4" I bought.

As an aside, the finish on the S&S pipes is almost identical to the factory finish.

Slash ups look best when you have fender extension and extended bags. Otherwise what you think looks best for you.

With these new bags, I actually like the shorter mufflers like Rinehart HP45's that end under the bag rather than behind them. This is of course after I already put on TABs with straight caps.

I’m pretty happy with how the KW slip ons fit.

Do you happen to have a side shot? I was trying to decide if I wanted the KW's or Rinehart.

But look at the soot on your fender and bag.

Actually, that's not soot.. The last time I rode the bike (before taking the picture), it had rained and I was traveling on damp roads. I haven't noticed any problems with soot in the 1000's of miles that I've had the tips on. Gonna have to start cleaning the bike before taking pictures
