Up, cause real bikers dont care who sees their soot!!!!

 

Slash up.. I've got these two piece tips and you can't see the slotted black inside liner with the slash facing down.

 

Try them both ways. You can’t really tell till you do it.

I never would have done slash up on this ’22 if I hadn’t seen it in a showroom on another bike.

 

Did up with mine and wished I hadn't in a week, driveway, dip at the curb sharp enough it'll bounce you don't hit right and slow. New learning curve, shovel didn't care.

 

I installed mine slash down.

I did mine up.

 

Is ther any difference in sound to the rider? Does down make it any easier to hear the tunes?

 

Slash down bounces more of the sound off the road surface. Also, if you ride on dirt or dusty roads, it will kick up the dust a lot more.

Back when we went to a lot of rallies every year, it was irritating to be near a bike with slash down, they really kicked up a cloud of dust where ever they went.

I did not want to be "that guy", so always mounted mine slash up.
