After watching the video, it appears that the hoses and harnesses will contact the skid plate. This may cause leaks and electrical shorts after a period of time.
Per my installation of the skid plate, I have no such contact or concerns.

Same. Nothing is close to the plate at all. Not to mention, everything is snug, with no wiggle.

They must have something else going on. That is not typical. As you can see here, there are no dangling wires.

I'm going to order one today. I do have a plastic electrical connector that hangs down on the left front side. Going to reroute or zip tie it up so it runs parallel to the radiator. I looked on the dealership floor, some seem to have that and some don't.

This video clearly shows one of the white wiring harness hold down clips (some call it 'christmas tree') not secured so that's part of the problem here.
