Looking for a new helmet for my RG

I mounted my Cardo PackTalk and started listening to my music streamed form my phone to the helmet speakers...wow! Great sound, speakers are right over my ears, and no fighting wind or road noise to try & hear it.
I ended up removing my aftermarket amp & speakers and now exclusively listen through my helmet speakers.

CycleGear has some fairly good deals on helmets and the stores I've been in has had lots of different brands in stock. If there is a store close to you, they will help you fit a helmet.
A helmet is not something I would want to buy online unless you are getting an exact replacement of the one you already have. Some are designed for round heads, others for oval heads. And then there are what options you may want to add will go with the helmet you select.
I've had an AGV K6 (2.9 lbs and comes with the Pinlock) for about 3 years and have been happy with it. I'll likely replace it in the next couple of years.

I'm on my 2nd Arai Classic V which is their version of that Shoei and yeah, uber comfy and great visibility compared to FF ... just wearing my FF more often because I'm old too, and in the event the law of averages catches up to me someday I'll still have my 'full face'

That being said, if at some point I decide to wear something else, the Shoei RJ Platinum-R will most certainly be the helmet of choice.

When I do wear a helmet I use the Harley full face. I think it’s called the division or something. It’s sharkskin blue same as my bike. It’s really comfortable and has some good venting for a full face. You don’t hear much wind noise either. I like it in cooler days. I find that the open face helmets look really goofy on me.

If you like modular....
I currently have a Schuberth C3 Pro. I had come from the standard C3. The both fit my head well (medium oval), and they are very reasonable in weight. Very solid lockup and luxurious feeling. Putting on a high level HJC feels cheap in comparison. The Shoei Neotec II also has that luxury feeling, however, it's heavy.
For my wife's bday this year, since her C3 Pro for Women is about 9 years old now, I bought her a new Schuberth C5, and she bought the SENA designed communication kit. That C5 answers the issues I had with the C3, primarily the venting. Terrific helmet, but the price is steep.
Mine is almost ready for replacement. If ordering today, without a doubt, I'd be getting the C5.
