Default Hill Hold in Neutral Fiasco

Purchased the HD dongle to be able to use hill hold in neutral and also found a dongle from Tim's Audio that does the same thing but will also bypass the kickstand position. I installed the dongle from Tim's and took it to the dealer to have the feature enabled (flashed).

Dealership indicated their Digital Technician could not find the dongle and it can't be programmed. Understanding this thing is not a HD part I did not argue and arranged a replacement with Tim.

I removed the dongle and rode the bike for a short time after getting home. I am now getting a kickstand down warning with it in the up position, a kickstand symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the display and a check engine light.

Codes are:
ECM - P150200
EHCU - U040100

My assumption is the dealer was able to activate the feature without realizing it since I never received all of these faults before. Yes, I will be plugging the Tim's dongle back in or maybe just plug the HD one in to see if everything clears.

I tried to research the codes I received with no luck. Does anyone have the description for these codes or a list of DTC's for our 2024's?

I have no idea what those codes are for... and not sure that they're even related to the kickstand sensor setting.

As far as the kickstand issue... Did you try using Hill Hold in neutral before taking the aftermarket dongle off, after leaving the shop?
It sounds like it got enabled, and wasn't a problem until you took it off, because you didn't get the kickstand warnings until then (and not on your way home from the dealer).
With the aftermarket dongle off the bike, does it now die when you put it in gear? It should because it doesn't know the kickstand is up (without the dongle on the bike fooling it).
If you put the aftermarket dongle on, and the kickstand warnings go away, start the bike and see if Hill Hold works in neutral to verify it'll work on your bike.

If you put the HD kickstand sensor back on the bike and everything works as its supposed to, and you want "to bypass the kickstand position feature" put a cap over it with a washer inside it.
see post #174 in this thread, should be the same sensor on your bike as on my '23 RGL

WTF is a "dongle" and why would I need one when stopped on a hill?

A “dongle” is a “thingy”, or alternately, a “whatchamacallit”

Chuck Berry wrote a song about his dongle.

Sometimes, I feel like a dongle . . . Sometimes, I don’t. 😁

Of course, you used the specific left-handed boxcar prawn to effect the change, right? RIGHT?!?!
