2025 limited

The Gold Wing Tour looks better everyday.
If you are the king of touring motorcycles and don’t offer a true full fledge tourer for two up with all the bells and whistles it is sad.
More people want that than you think. The HD A-La-Cart system really sucks in my opinion.
Just my 2 cents worth from someone that really does not care since I have zero plans to ever purchase a new HD.

Me? I bought the HD King Pack, fixed mount, and backrest at my dealer for about $1,400 out the door. I already had a $350 Cardo that delivers clear audio to my ears.

Two years ago I bought a Road King for $21k and added about $2,500 to it to make it my perfect, not bloated, touring mount. I really like the new bikes with their screens, improved cooling, aerodynamics (less buffeting) and other little improvements. Not having priced out the bits to get it where I would want it for touring, and subject to what Harley will charge for a Limited if they release one that's not a CVO, my assumptions are likely crap, but it's what I know now.

I don't need speakers, or a stereo for that matter (Cardo), I don't need electrical hookups in the Tour Pak (charge bank from Amazon for $25 for for me now). That's not much of a list I guess, but Harley charges a premium to bundle it all together that has always turned me off. Mid-thirties for a motorcycle?!? I paid less for my wife's luxurious new hybrid.

Harley Davidson developed the long distance tourer. It is their image, explore America on a motorcycle. Most of us use them for day trips and just running around but they’ve sold thousands for a reason.
Honda, BMW, Yamaha and others developed bikes to go after that market but have yet to come close to Harley’s market share for fully equipped touring bikes.
I don’t see Harley abandoning that market.

I’ll add to or update the above depending on your perspective. I was speaking with a gentleman yesterday that is very well connected. We talked about this exact subject and he shared that all of his contacts tell him there will be a 2025 Road Glide Limited based on the new 24 design. There will not be a bat wing version according to him.
That makes sense to me.

I think you are missing the point. No one is suggesting that Harley only sell a Limited. Sell 2 models...a regular touring bike (SG & RG) for those that need no "stuff" (or can add what they do need or want) and a Limited for those of us that want a full-on, long distance, 2-up touring with all the "stuff".
