I suppose that to minimize throttle openings, engine brake must be increased instead, so put +1

Bike still "blipped" the throttle when releasing the clutch into 2nd gear at very low speed when engine braking was at -1. So it has done this on me at -1, base and +1. I set it to max about 20 miles ago and it has not done it YET. However, it is very intermittent...I hope it is not the sport engine mapping that is doing this!?

I originally set my own parameters for the custom ride mode. I just "copied over" the sport mode to see what all those were at. I was surprised to see that the throttle response and engine braking were both set to base.

Same here. Throttle seems very sensitive in road mode especially around or above 2500 RPM, and will blip over some bumps.

it si not a throttle sensitive or bumps' matter. the bike blips by herself even without touch the throttle at all.

Well that's not good. HD needs to get the damn programming right. I find it difficult to be "smooth" on this bike, due to what we're talking here, throttle response and the clunky clutch/transmission.

If you want to really see it happening find yourself a flat area with a warmed up engine. Put it in any mode and slowly let the clutch out without touching the Twist Grip. I put my right hand on the handle bar just to make sure I never twisted the throttle. As you feather the clutch out without stalling the bike it will accelerate forward by itself each and every time and run along in 1st gear about 8 - 10 mph by itself. It really screws with how the clutch engages when your taking off in heavy traffic area's.

I will definitely test that out.

I just noticed this for the first time this morning. I was coasting with the clutch in, coming to a yield sign on a turn. I was going slow about 10 mph and started to let the clutch out and that's when it happened. I felt and heard the RPMs jump up.
