Default Who's waiting for a 2025?

Just curious to see if anyone is waiting for the 2025 models to come out instead of buying a first year new model 2024 Road/Street Glide? I mean I guess technically you can say it's 1.5 years or whatever it's been out because of the CVOs. I don't look at it that way because the masses don't buy the CVOs and ride them. The real test is with the standards. Anyway.

I'm not saying I am, but I'm leaning that way. A couple reasons for my thoughts on waiting. The first year of a major model revamp always comes with some bugs. Especially with a new head unit/electronics. Im sure there will be bugs that need to be worked out. Plus some people grip about little things like the new horn placement being an after thought. So maybe they'll refine it a bit for 2025.

Also I think between now and the next couple of years it's going to turn into a buyers market. This is the biggest reason. Deals will be had. Its already starting to turn as we speak. I think next year will be even better. Plus more time to save money that I don't have. And more time to daydream.

I’ve got 7200 miles on my 24 and I have had no issues with it. I wouldn’t worry about the bugs so much. Overall the bike has been bulletproof other than some goofy stuff with the infotainment which should be able to be cured with software updates. But I agree that it will probably be easier to get a deal on these in 25. It is kinda fun to have the newest bike out and that is worth some money to me.
I doubt there will be any significant changes to them in 25. It would be cool if they put VVT on the bikes in 25, but I don’t think they will. And VVT kinda inhibits aftermarket upgrades.

ironically I jumped on the new Harley but am holding off on the all new redesigned 2024 Toyota Tacoma which has its share of issues .. my 2024 RG has been absolutely awesome for over 10,000 miles I've put on it so far and glad I pulled the trigger immediately, and with the below MSRP deal I got I'm very happy about it all

I made the mistake of buying first year of 96", so I don't trust harley on 1st years. But I wouldn't hold out because I thought some ground breaking innovation was coming out from harley

I definitely do not think any ground breaking innovation is coming for 2025. I'm just talking about working the bugs out of the infotainment system and making some refinement tweaks. Plus the main reason is getting a better deal in a buyers market. Thats all. Plus more time to save money. Lol.

Yeah I don't think I would want VVT anyway. I'd rather the ability to do engine upgrades even though I hardly ever do. A cam and exhaust is good enough. Plus I feel with VVT it's just one more thing to go wrong. I'm more into longevity then performance.

2027 Chevy is going to redesign the Silverado I hear. Hoping to get one of those. I see a lot of the Toyotas around.

2026 will afford more refinement and more dialed-in. Afterwards, 2027 . . .

Yeah. Probably best to wait and get the very last year right before the new model comes out in 2030. That way, it's super refined. Lol.

Aren't the new Toyota trucks having engine issues right now?
