24 Street glide in Whiskey Fire
#51
Think of it this way. The Road and Street Glide used to be $21,900 a couple years ago. Then Covid-19 hit. Prices went up. The pandemic is over. The current msrp s are $26k plus the extra charges for paint, trim and freight. I have a feeling they kept the price jacked up so the dealerships and moco can make good money even if you talk them down. Basically it makes you feel like you good a good deal paying $26k OTD and the dealership still made a killing! Make sense!? Pretty sneaky!

can't compare those year and models to now..the old ones at that price had 107s and RDRS was a $1000 option as well as other things..then the Specials were upwards of $30K + so these 24s are the Goldilocks 'value' model now..it was smart of them to do away with multiple model options and just have the one now..these probably are, and will sell like hotcakes I suspect

yep all those add ons are total BS. Now that we know people are getting them for 26k OTD that’s the price. I would t pay more than that knowing what I know now. Just write it down on a sticky note with name and number and eventually you’ll get a call.

none of those charges are something new, and I got mine OTD for under MSRP..experience and shrewd business sense is all one needs

Interesting, And this dealer has additional fees they want to haggle over, I think this is going to be a battle.
edit: I walked at $28. But it’s still early and this dealer is open on Sunday.

Yes, Whiskey Fire and Black with the day tripper. $26,500.34, they ate the $0.34. This was over $4000 off from 2 days ago, only stipulation was it had to be bought and paid for before they closed today. Other dealers didn't seem to be very hungry, this place called me and said they were willing to drop their drawers for a sale. I don't disagree that Harley is gouging people, but I wasn't going to be one of them. The end of the month appears to be a great time to buy, last day or two? I haven't bought a Harley in over 20 years, so I'm not sure what it's been like in many years. I know in 2000, you paid whatever they wanted and waited for quite a while to get it.
