we don't have sales tax, and they also included the docking hardware installed..our GM actually offered our HOG chapter members a certain % above invoice deal which ended up between invoice and MSRP..I jumped on it and glad I did .. but reality is with hundreds of dealers across the country in different regions, markets, independents vs conglomerates, some are greedy @$$wipes, some have full disclosure up front pricing, etc. its always going to be all over the place .. but as far as I'm concerned the playbook is wide open for me because I am in control, by not 'needing' to buy these things, so I only buy when I feel great about the deals

It sounds like you are a stroke in those messages because why haven’t you bought the bike?

Here's the deal I just did on May 31st. 24 SG in Whiskey Fire, black trim w/ docking hardware. No extended warranty or any other extras. My trade was a 2000 EG Clasic with 60k miles. Good condition except front speakers were blown. Nothing special except garage door opener and Bluetooth radio. In my estimation my trade was worth $5k private party, $2.5k trade in. On the bill of sale, my trade was $9.5k. I wrote a check for $20,634 out the door, taxes, title etc. If I figured on 5k for the trade + my check for $20,634, my out the door price was $25,634 taxes included. I couldn't shake the sales managers' hand fast enough. Go ahead, call BS on me. I have my bill of sale and a canceled check.
