I just got done rattle canning mine with flat black high temp paint. Looks great.

The skid plate fits and bolts right up in about 20 minutes. I had to work around my Ciro frame mounted pegs and add 2 spacers to accommodate the .125” thickness of the skid plate material.

Others should have no issues installing the said in short time.

Yes, based on my own personal experience, it is indeed a critical part, which the MOCO overlooked.
