I didn't like having to do all that either, but they sound pretty good...just figured I'd mention it...

It is a 20 minute job, and worth it. Street Canons suck

I put them on my 24 SG a few weeks ago as part of a Stage 1. Excellent slip-ons. I used to use only Vance and Hines but I only use Rinehart now. I also have a pair (different model) on my 24 Indian Chief.

Not a '24, but I have the Rinehart HP45's ("shorties" with DBX baffles) on my '23 ST and they sound just about perfect to me. Nice sharp bark when you get on it. I don't know about torque loss, the old 117 is more of a midrange motor to begin with. Would love to hear them with catless headers.

nah, had em' on my first M8 for ~40,000 miles .. they sound great, can tour with them, performance is great, don't lose torque, don't have to swap baffles ... the 2nd gen sound even better and they fixed the loose baffle bs

I bought them and found them to be to loud for me especially on long tours. I called Rinehart and they told me these are the loudest ones they have and that they do have ones not so loud. It's best to call them and ask their advise for for your type of riding and sound. Wish I had done that prior to purchasing them.

folks should watch this to the end...very interesting and informative .. they compare to major popular aftermarket competitors and stack up very well against them in all tests
