Hi all from the UK. WRT to fitting the HD Tallboy bars did you get away with the existing harness, clutch cable etc?
cheers Mike

Yep. All existing wiring, clutch cable, and brake line work with the HD Tallboy bars. You WILL have to remove the two retainers that hold the clutch line and brake line to the triple tree, so that you have enough slack in those lines.
In the video below, I show the process of replacing the bars without removing the fairing. I do not detail what I described above because there are so many variables depending on the bars that are being installed.
To remove the clutch and brake line retainers with the fairing in place, you will need a T27 bit for a 1/4” hex driver and a way to turn it. I turned my T27 bit with a 1/4” end wrench and it worked just fine. You basically need a right-angle T27.
Hey everyone. I picked my brand new Street Glide this weekend. I like the looks and layout of the Street Glide over the Road Glide but man do I like where the Road Glide handlebars put your hands. What size handlebars would I need to get to mimic the Road Glide location? Thanks for your input.
my exact thoughts 1-BD,
I fabbed up a mule today to get the bars more like the RG. I’ll bend a copy next week. I even took some sweep out of the bend.

I think the RG bars are 11 inches I have heard. Also the bend in the road glide bars is more flat than the street glide which makes a huge difference. Tallboy bars are going to be about 10 inches but they have the same bend as the stock street glide bars (more pullback than road glide bars).
don’t really have an answer but maybe this might help.
addendum: I meant this as a reply to Broke Dads post. Can’t figure out how to delete a post on this.
