2024 CVO has Cardo not Sena?
#11
I've used both. I am a fan of Cardo and currently use that system with my wife and daughter as well.
The sound quality is superior with the JBL speakers. I opted for the 45mm upgrade. The Cardo is more user friendly, once set up. Open the app, change the settings, and forget it. It just works. It automatically pairs when in range of the group that has been established, and pairs with one button to other systems, including Sena.
The best part was, I can have music through the BOOM on the bike and phone through the helmet. But anymore, the BOOM is off and I use the Cardo exclusively. My TalkPack Bold was damaged in the crash, so I got the Edge. Then, Cardo helped me on my Bold and my daughter uses it now.

I'm pretty sure that my HD 50s does all that too, but I don't use all of those features. For example, when riding in a group too much yakking for me so I don't mesh in with others. When my wife is with me on her bike, we can talk if necessary. But mostly I'm listening to music.

I'm not sure how they all work, but our system is cool. We listen to music while riding. My wife rides her own, so when we ride together, she listens to her music, I listen to mine. If we talk, the music volume dips so we can communicate, then goes back to normal. It's seamless.

Sena says they are not waterproof, a friend of mine proved them correct, his unit filled with water while riding through a heavy downpour.
You would think any electronic device made to be used on a motorcycle would be waterproof...

Yep, you'd think so. I didn't even know that mine aren't waterproof.
