Actually, what problems are we trying to solve? I don’t see any problems identified in this thread. “gunk” going in the intake is not a problem in itself.

If everyone means carbon build up on pistons, all these “fixes won’t stop it. Get a boroscope and check out your cylinders. You’re going to have some level of carbon. As long as it’s not so thick as to change compression to a measurable degree, no issue.

If your getting significant blow by, rather then an ugly catch can, get your top end rebuilt. If not, stop drilling holes and adding hoses and cans on your engine.

A catch can is always a good addition, cleaner engine internals make for a better running engine. Nice work DSM11.

A catch can is unnecessary, just vent the breather hoses overboard, no need to collect the condensation, just let it evaporate.

If you need a catch can because of excessive oil blowing out the breathers, you have other issues.

I wonder if this would affect the turn radius of a trike...
