If everyone means carbon build up on pistons, all these “fixes won’t stop it. Get a boroscope and check out your cylinders. You’re going to have some level of carbon. As long as it’s not so thick as to change compression to a measurable degree, no issue.
If your getting significant blow by, rather then an ugly catch can, get your top end rebuilt. If not, stop drilling holes and adding hoses and cans on your engine.

A catch can is unnecessary, just vent the breather hoses overboard, no need to collect the condensation, just let it evaporate.
If you need a catch can because of excessive oil blowing out the breathers, you have other issues.
I wonder if this would affect the turn radius of a trike...

I don’t have a M8 in the fight here, but I thought the M8 is Port injectioned?
This catch can issue was actually a one of the first mods I did on my SS Camaro, LT V8 being direct ported, the gunk going in was definitely a bigger issue to get rid of, and my understanding was that’s why being its direct ported instead of regular port injection like the Harley.
Again a lot of it is doom marketing, ‘cause the majority of these cars are just stock and are commuter vehicles, but I did take mine to the Drag strip occasionally and wanted a little more insurance
