Default Discount dealers and parts

I used to have a list of dealerships across the county that would sell HD parts at 20%+- discount from their online parts department. Had a computer failure and lost the "list" but as I remember a couple were Surdyke and Lakeshore. There were 3 or 4 others that I had previously ordered parts but can't remember or find them. Surdyke which I think I remember used to off 20%+ off MSRP shows showed less that 10% on parts yesterday. Have those days gone away of better discounts or have I just not found the correct ones yet? Thanks

Ordering from online dealers is a thing of the past, do a search, the subject has been discussed ad nauseum.

I think the original Lake Shore HD dealership is gone.

Surdyke used to offer 20%. I had an account with them and used them frequently.

After the MoCo cracked down on online sales, I tried to make a Surdyke order. They sent a form letter thanking me for my patronage, but advising me they can no longer ship parts outside their territory.

The closest local dealership is very lame. But even my favorite dealership, an extra 15 min ride away, has started charging more for parts than the price listed on the HD OEM Service Parts web site.

So now I order from the online HD site, and pick up at the dealership closest to my house. That way I get the HD online price, but have the shorter drive.

.. just my 2 cents. Another bone head move by Corporate. All they are doing is forcing people to go to after market and worse .... retailers like Temu and Ali express. And the fact is that quality is just as good as what you fined on Harleys shelves these days. Damn near ... no .. really Identical.

I used to love buying all my harley parts at Surdyke. Saved so much money cause of them.
But MOCO made a bad decision that I will never agree with, and forced Surdyke to stop.

So now days I go to the dealerships and ask for vet discount when I want stuff for my bike. I guess HD got what they wanted...
Sometimes those corpo pigs really live up to it.

Yea there were quite a few Surdyke, Boardtracker, which is closed, Milwaukee HD, and a few more I used but like was said previously they are all a thing of the past. THANKS HARLEY for all your infinite wisdom.

Somehow Ronnie's still ships. The discount isn't great after you add shipping but its a little bit cheaper than going to my local dealer.

Oh .. I have to use this .. I never thought to ask for a vet discount !! Not sure they give that around here but worth a try. That coupled with Hog credit card points would make things cheaper for sure.

Lol for me It was a thought process of... "Well Harleys are super popular with Vets, and I'm disabled and dont have lots of money... Might as well ask"
I think it may be per dealership because the MOCO site does not give a discount for vets.
My dealership does a 10% discount so I basically just get away with not paying tax on the item since sales tax is 10% here in the Seattle metropolis area.
It's been a nice little thing to have since Surdyke cant sell to us anymore.
