Hi all im new here. My name is derek i live on a very small island in the caribbean called bonaire. This is my first harley it’s a 2018 softail slim flsl.
i bought it at auction in the states im having an issue with the bike. It came with a enter pin on the display and no keyfob, i ordered a scanner and a keyfob that can program a key. But i can’t hook it up bc i need to enter the pin to on the bike. Does anyone know how i can find out what the pin is or another way to get the bike started?

I don't think there is any way to get that PIN without having a working FOB present.
If it was that easy, it wouldn't be much of a security system.

I think your only option is a HD dealer, and even then it may not be very simple.

 

If you can get your hands on one, I know that you can recover the PIN with a TechnoResearch SuperPro.

 

Guess there's no Harley dealership there? Here in the States, proof of ownership tracks the vin all they way back to a legal sale would be required for an authorized dealership to fix that issue.

Yeah no dealers here on the island, i do have the obdscan iscan for hd, but the dlc is not getting 12v cause the accessory does not come on bc of the enter pin. I could contact hd in the states maybe thay could help me. Or can i buy a used bcm with fob and it would work?

 

Not sure since it's locked out what it would take. An authorized dealer won't see you those parts.

 

You could always offer to fly someone in that has a TechnoResearch SuperPro and have them do it for you. It might be just as cost effective as other options.
