So the '22 FXBBS is the wife's bike, and she doesn't want to change the stock bars, but the look is killing me, the 1" diameter is just too small for the stature of the bike IMHO. Have any of you come across bars with the stock 10" mini-ape bend but in 1.25 or 1.5 tubing?

 

The bars in post #20 is what I'm going to install.

 

She wants to keep the stock look, so they've got to be 10" mini-apes.

 

I ran Wild One 10" Outlawz on my Road Glide. I really like them. If I were to go back to a mini ape those are what I would get. They come in 1.25".

Just bought a few cosmetic H-D Adversary parts
e.g. Timing Cover, Derby Cover, etc..

 

Fitted a few parts that turned up during the week...
Removed the rubber gaiters and fitted a black fork cover kit.


Black replacement Headlight ring tbd.
Black honeycomb Oil Radiator Cover (had to do a slight modification to the inner plastic cover to fit)

Fitted some Adversary Black & Orange pegs

 

Unveiled the bike to my OH - I bought this primarily for her to ride.
We had to sell her last bike a few years back and I promised that I would replace it.
I bought it about 3 weeks ago, managed to pick it up last Saturday, get it home while she was out and keep it in the garage under wraps for the whole week - today I surprised her.
She had absolutely no idea at all and to say that she was chuffed to bits would be an under statement

 

I finally finished my 22 Street Bob mods. Took 18 months but it now looks the way I want, and with the Stage 2, it really moves out.
