I was talking to one of the service writers one day and they brought out the little piggyback tester the techs use and it came back at like 12.4 needed to crank the bike over. I haven't had them pull it out and throw it on their tester due to how much of a pain in the *** it is on the newer Softails.
I'm kinda having the same issue, and now have my battery at Harley to test. I'm no mechanic, but I will say getting the battery out really isn't that bad. 2 worst parts are: 1. Make sure to use needle nose to take out/put in the positive screw, and 2. It's a tight squeeze to actually pull the battery itself out after you get it disconnected. You just have to kinda rock it back and forth while lifting it up. Make sure the strap under the battery gets placed back right. (The strap will stick out making it much easier to remove the next time)
