Word of very strong warning here though.
DO NOT use Wireless earbuds under your helmet. They fulcrum against your ears and because of the weight of the battery and internals and casing, they will vibrate inside your ears without breaking loose. This means they will pound against your ear drums and cause more harm than good.
Only ever use wired earbuds that are light. Heavier monitors or any others that mount in your ears that are too heavy will pound on your ear drums. Little plastic ones from philips or sony are the ones I use.
Usually 11~15$ on amazon.
Thank you! Now can you make the weather nice?

If I could I would.
Hope the earplugs turn out great.
This spring summer riding season is full of hopes for me.

If you want another set I would get them for you for all your help on various newb issues. They aren't super expensive.

I will try the "MusicSafe" ear plugs to see (hear) if they are better than the "WorkSafe", not too expensive and perhaps I will feel better on the bike and keep my "Neigbor Haters"...

I sent an email to Vance & Hines support because I have seen on their site that there is a new version of the Eliminators 300 for the Heritage (SKU 16316) with a cat inside, in France we can only find the SKU 16716 which has no cat, do you have heard about that new Eliminator and does anyone here have these mufflers ?

Right there with you, except I was a live sound tech for several decades and my ears ring like crazy now.
Earplugs every ride mostly to cut the wind noise, but also any droning.
My 2 week old bike is stock and after 2000+ km I reckon I can either live with the quiet pipes, or at most get some SE street cannons for just a tiny bit more rumble…

I prefer douchebag loud. Soooo I guess I am a douchebag. I am o.k with that as I am a big fan of the intended target that the douchebag intends to clean! Now I am no gynecologist but I’ll take a look!

finally after reflection and my test with the Rinehart, which do not make any difference in term of resonances with my Cobra, I think that the best for me is to pass on the Pro Pipe, there is only one exit (to attenuate the resonances) it is long and by that fact the noise will be chased on the back and it pleases me aesthetically because the line passes close to the saddlebag and does not generate a big gap like many others, but I hesitate between the chrome and the black one, I found pictures of the Heritage with the black one but not with the chrome one, if someone has it at hand it would be nice to put one here and your opinions will be welcome too....
