Default How to remove bottom rh switch housing?

Hello people.I haven't removed one of these before so best to ask. After the top housing is removed and I separate the master cylinder from the bottom housing what's next?Does the housing just remove from the switches and wiring or is it the 2 screws (1 in diagram)holding the cabling in that needs removing 1st?

You just need to remove screw #2 in the diagram (both top and bottom) and the bottom housing #10 will come out from around the switches themselves

I tried that yesterday but it seemed the bottom housing 10 was stuck to the swithe.I didn't yank it as I didn't wanna damage anything.

Loosen the two bolts that hold the lever to the bar. The switch is keyed to the lever assembly. There isnt enough clearance that ive found to remove it without loosening both of the lever clamp screws.

No, just the screws numbered "2". The bottom of the switches isn't going to move far because the electrics that run through the bars are connected to it. But you will get some movement. Watch out for the front brake light switch between the brake lever and switch housing.

Is screws 1 and bracket 11 securing the wires to the housing?
