Had Harley fix the speedo going issue?

Yes. It was the stock 2022 speedo. Physically, it looks like the 2018 original, but the lights at startup are a bit different.
When I screwed up drilling the backing holes a bit too deep to vent the original (April 2022), my local dealer said they did not have one and it would take 6 months to get one. They did a search for other dealers who had one in stock and found one in Cincinnati. The new HD rule against shipping outside dealers' locale came into play, so I drove down and picked the new one up.
It's been 4 months since the install. The bike has been rained on and repeatedly washed. No fogging so far.
