Default Passenger foot peg relocation on 2018 Fat Boy with Bassani 2-1

So I installed a Bassani Road Rage 2-1 exhaust on my 2018 Fat Boy and then realized there is nowhere for the right passenger peg to go now. I bought the exhaust second hand off a guy who said he put his in the new mounting bracket for the exhaust (you can see the wear marks on the mounting bracket from where he did this) but it's not threaded and the backside would rub the brake line, so I don't want to do that.
I have seen threads about this where people say there is a plastic push cap on the frame just in front of the swing arm, above the pivot point there (I even called Jeremy at Bassani and this is what he said too), but my bike does not have this.

Is there something that I am missing? In all of the threads that I see this mentioned, I have never seen anyone suggest a fix for this situation. Has anyone else had and resolved this issue?

Looks like your fatboy has a different frame than my 21' slim. I have a plastic plug about an inch or so above the swingarm pivot bolt. Your frame in that area is different. I don't think your missing anything, I would assume the fatboy may not have it as it's different due to the back tire fitment.

I also noticed that on Bassani's website, the exhausts are different part numbers on the 2-1 for the Breakout, FXDR, and the Fatboy. Maybe that's the reason.

Yes the 2018 Fat Boy and Breakout don't have the lower peg hole.
That was added to the FLFBS and FXBRS in model year 2019.

Yeah, you have a different bracket than I do. I'm gonna call Bassani again and see if I can buy just the bracket that has the peg mount on it.

That mount is for a LRS

My 2018 Breakout has a different bracket that allows the passenger peg to be mounted on it. I tried looking up the part number for the right one but found nothing. You may have to call them directly.

That makes sense. I always wondered why they would design a bracket with some random holes in it, if they didn't have a purpose. It would also explain why they were confused as to why I couldn't mount the peg to the bracket...because I have the wrong bracket.

I will call Bassani and see about ordering that new bracket this morning. Thank you very much for this.

Just an update on this, thank you guys for your help so much. I contacted Bassani and I definitely had the wrong bracket, they had the correct bracket in stock and I was able to order one which should fix my issue. For anyone interested, the bracket for a 2018 Fat Boy and Road Rage 2-1 exhaust is BKT-S24, and Jeremy at Bassani can help you order it (Jeremy has been a huge help on several occasions at Bassani).
