Thanks Fran, I didn't think of that. I have a Noco and the leads are about 14ga so what you're saying makes sense. I'm pretty sure extra sets of cables are available for the nocos. For someone taking long trips it might be worthwhile to wire up a set much like the tender is. Though I haven't looked to see how much room is available at the posts. All I've heard and read is that the batteries are a pain to get to. Or at least it's not a quick or simple process.

FYI I have the Noco Boost Plus GB40.
Just make sure the cable will work with the one you have.

I installed it and ran it so that it is right next to the battery tender cable. I didn’t want to have to remove anything to get to it. I tucked it in a little better than you see in the picture…though having it visible doesn’t really bother me…but that’s just me.
