Everything Low Rider ST Thread

Thanks so much for posting this! I've been waiting for Matt's review of this bike since it was announced in January. He is the gold standard for all things Harley in my opinion. I wish he had personally liked it more but he's just too big for a more compact bike like this. I was floored by his thoughts on this being the most significant bike Harley has introduced, maybe ever; I'm thinking at least the most signficant since the Street Glide in '06. These will be everywhere when they're able to get production ramped up, I think there will be several variations of it in the future. It's a shame you have to live in CA to be close to Laidlaw HD! I will definitely be making that a destination if I'm ever in the area. They sure seem like stand-up people.
Because of Matt Laidlaw’s YouTube videos, they told me they get visitors from around the world.

Here’s the only 2 questions I have. My 2020 w no jt special (read fairing) rips. Any fairing/windshield makes over 70 feel like ur gna get pulled off the bike w skid lid or ur getting jumped (full face helmet). Unbearable buffeting n not the typical b******* type I’m talking bad. Then if runnin say 600miles in a day my groin (jeezus lol) is killlin me.
In short do u get major buffeting? Do ur legs/groin hurt after riding a bunch?
please save any advertisement or burner email (moco employee / pr) posts saying this depends on many factors… give me YOUR experience

^ have you watched any of the review threads or read any of the reviews of riders here on the forums?
the fairing is said to be incredible for body & leg. tons of design hour into it. head wise, only issue I've seen (which is clear just by seeing it with a rider position) is taller (6 foot+) riders will need a taller windshield.
...again, something klock werks will handle.

Here’s a great YouTube video about the LRST by Matt Laidlaw of Laidlaw’s Harley Davidson.
I bought my LRST from them. No mark up and no dealer prep fees. Friendly people too, with a great family feel to the dealership. Though they are about a 1.5 hour ride from me, I’m going to start going to them for my services and the events they have.
And no, I am not associated with them, and get no kick backs…

I inquired about a black FXLRST amd since they are supposedly an MSRP no fee dealer, I thought I'd give them a try. All the local dealers here in Phoenix area fee the bikes up almost $9k. So their response was that they are unwilling to work with out of state people and are concentrating on local sales and riding community only. I thought that was a strange response. I figured they would be glad to take my money and put me on a list. I'm not in any rush to get one. I figured they would be fine with out of state sales especially since I'm only about 4 or 5 hours away and more than willing to make the drive. Its a disappointment but I'll keep looking around I guess. Maybe when production increases and more are available it'll be a bit easier and more cost justifiable to get one.
