Default New 2024 LRST

Went from a 2022 Sportster S to a 2024 Low Rider ST in Billiard Grey. More of an OEM+ look but still thought I show it here. I‘m contemplating a different set of bars and risers now even though the stock set-up is quite comfortable to me, but it seems everybody goes for at least 6 inch risers nowadays… Are you doing it for the look or is it really more comfortable? How is it with more ‚spirited‘ driving?

So far the following parts are installed:
HD Empire heated hand grips
HD Empire mirrors
HD black clutch and brake lever
HD pop-up fuel tank cover
HD flat out bar
HD Rockford Fosgate audio
HD forward controls black (I‘m too tall for mids)
HD Endgame foot pegs
HD Endgame shift peg
HD Endgame passenger pegs
HD Screamin Eagle Extreme Ventilator black air cleaner

Jekill & Hyde 2 in 1 electronically switchable exhaust black with bronze accents
Saddlemen Pro Series SDC with lumbar rest and bronze stitching
Heinzbikes Micro LED turn signals
Heinzbikes 3 in 1 LED license plate holder
SP Connect phone mount

i did 6" risers within a month of buying mine. Hey were very nice with spirited riding and even some distance. I did a 1500 mile round trip one weekend and 1000 miles a few weeks later. They did very well but the memphis shades hand guards wouldn't clear the klock werks windshield. Recently took the 6" speed kings off for the new 10" arlen ness setup. Probably a little too tall for me but better for the long distance riding.

I also had interference with the Klockworks windshield on my 23 LRST

Brought my 2023 FXLRST home in May of that year. I am happy to report that the honeymoon is still on even after more than a year and 5,500 miles on the bike. Been the best bike I have ever owned and ridden in my 33 years of riding.

Changes made:

Tab Performance slip-ons with medium baffles.
T/C Bros front & rear engine bars
Bung King 6" risers with 2" pull back

The bike was almost perfect but I felt stretched to reach the bars comfortably and the risers really helped dial in the reach issue. Now all is right. Things to consider now for the coming year(s) is a new seat and possibly a clockworks screen maybe a bit taller. At 5'9" the stock screen works fine for me.

Forgot to add: The wrinkle coat black on the Bung King risers matches perfectly with the OEM wrinkle paint on the bike. I like that and wanted to keep the theme going.

Well, a few things.... First I put some Metzler Cruisetecs on at 6000. So far love them. I will stick with them in the future. Sticky, feel great, and turn in is ridiculous. Then put some Lyndall gold plus pads on. I haven't faded them yet. Stop better than stock, and give great feel.

I got my PV tuner from Fuel Moto last week and did some auto tunes. Bike runs so damn good. I was going to get some Stealth pipes... But went with jackpot Riots. Perfect length. They get here Friday. Can't wait. I'll probably have the exhaust yanked off Thursday night. 🤣

the riot pipe is a very easy install. The first full exhaust I did on my bike was the Bassani road rage. Then I did the cam sounded good with fuel moto’s map. I then went to the riot pipe. My first impression was it felt like I lowered my gearing with the change. The riot was a very noticeable improvement as far as low end torque. I think you will be very happy with the riot.

I think it took me start to finish a little over a hour to pull the stocker pipes and get the Riot on, very easy install.
