Secured these from mymachinistdesigns.com his last set of his saddlebag emblems he made. Will be picking some risers up later. The craftsmanship is amazing.

What bars would you use for shorter folks. Looking to see what is out there for a reduced type reach.

Harley makes a reduced reach handlebar. Personally, I would not recommend it. It's simply a lower bar with no additional rearward pullback.
Some have reported good success with beach type bars. I've no experience with them on these bikes.
I'm currently working with a set of Helibars, but that's taking a lot of additional work, and I'm still not terribly satisfied with them.
Biggest thing I don't like about bars with long reach is parking lot manuevers become more awkward, as the bars aren't so much pivoting but "sweeping". It's awkward at the limits.

I personally prefer being scooted forward and brought closer to the bars. The handlebar motion is better, and it's easier for me to reach the pedals.

To that end, I've a reduced reach seat. It works well as far as seating position goes, but it's a bit narrower than stock, and firmer. It's fine for an hour or two, but long rides become distinctly uncomfortable.
I've also ridden on the current 2-up Sundowner seat, and now have a solo version that I haven't been able to get out on. The 2-up version seems to scoot me forward a bit, and was very comfortable for several hours of riding.

Agree with foxtrapper - better to start with a seat that scooches you up, then try a pullback plate type of solution if you need more.

You could also spend more and get a aftermarket triple tree.

The only issue with that is I would want a higher seating position if I am sitting closer since my legs would be even more cramped. For some reason seat manufacturers think lower seat and closer. Not considering the foot position. Then that would snowball into getting the foot controls changed to forward controls instead of the mid pegs.

Buying a tallboy seat would achieve that by putting me up higher, but then it puts me back a bit. So now I have to buy even longer pullback risers other than 6.5 in tall with possibly a 3 in pullback instead of the 2in pullback that I am seeing out there.

Well, as a smurf, I usually find the two go together. But I understand we're each different. And, this is the ST thread, which is a bike that already has the foot position rather high and rearward to begin with.
