While I’m no race bike canyon carver, I do sometimes scrape pegs or boards on various bikes.
Usually scraping startles and disturbs me. I don’t like it.
However the Heritage has not, in the few times I’ve scraped it in the limited time I’ve owned it. It happens, I note it, and ride on.
I can’t explain it. Hope it goes similarly for you should you switch to forward controls.

I've had forward's on both my LRS's I actually had the dealer swap them off my previous 2020 LRS to my currant 2022 one, they do scrape especially going around a tight corner, but generally not bad, for me at 6ft they are near perfect along with a new seat and 9.5'' risers

Yes just the pegs scrape but only when I'm going for it around tight corners like round-abouts, I like the fact they touch first making them the wear point and not the exhaust etc, the 2022 LRS is better for clearance than the 2020 was due to the longer rear shock on the later models

What decided me was sitting on a new '24 117 Breakout with forwards and the heavy breather. Whatever I did the side of my knee was against the air cleaner and I always hit it when reaching for the peg.
