That salesman is full of ****.
MSRP for the vivid black Low Rider ST is $21,749. Freight is $600, and there is a surcharge of $750. That's a total of $23,099 before tax and license. The only other charge in there is $200 for California emissions (if applicable).
If you were buying the ST in California for MSRP, the out the door price would be around $25K. This includes 10% for tax and license.

I added a few inches to the riser on my Super Glide with no issues, but the Low Rider doesn't look very promising without some modifiations. An expert could prove me wrong & I'm sure there are ways to do it 'cause there are a bunch of Low Rider S's out there with tall risers but no doubt with longer everything & there's quite a bundle of wires running into that bar with no slack I could pull.

Local dealer finally got one in, vivid black, and I got to finally see it and sit on it... Damn it, I'll be owning another bike. Definitely want the gray, though, so that was my saving grace from signing papers today. I really thought I was going to hate that display but I actually think it fits very well and looks great. One of the few bikes I would probably leave stock for a while. The controls, mids, were a little more cramped on me than I'm used to but would definitely work. I certainly understand why anyone taller than me, 5'10" 30" inseam, would want forward controls. Great looking bike
