The high pegs won't work for me and I don't think the forward controls are the answer either.
Here are the photos I meant to attach

I recently did a 600 mile roundtrip from Vegas area to Phoenix. Roads are AZ are the worst I've seen in my 55 years -- they really let it go during the pandemic.

That said, my FXLRST did just fine for the 10 hours of driving. I was perfectly comfortable the entire time. Now to be clear, I put forwards on my bike immediately -- was just too cramped with the mids. I also sport a Saddleman seat which likely makes a huge difference.

Gimme a month, I'll get mine and do a full conversion with the boards off my sport glide (Dominion) and show you how it all goes together.

Had the risers and engine guards installed. Bung King 6" risers 2" pull back. Dealer replaced clutch cable but the brake cable while tight was fine. Now when I ride my back is firmly against the backrest of my Mustang seat and steering if not just general riding is near perfect. Didn't realize how much I had been leaning forward with the other bars, for reference 5'8" 30" inseam. Replacing windscreen next using Clearview medium or large shield, probably large as I have the Harley large shield and it is not sufficient. Apparently actually riding in the proper position was enough to put me back in the airflow over the windscreen to where the turbulence is not comfortable

Happy new bike day for me!

Already installed:
Sundowner, Passenger pegs and backrest (carried over from my Sport Glide)
Layback plate mount

Coming soon:
Dominion Floorboard conversion (Also carried over from the Sport Glide), need a few parts to get the mids off.
Black levers (why, Harley?)
maybe slip-ons. see how the stockers bed in.

First bike I've had in a while that I can just ride. Floorboards are the only "must" due to the lack of a dysfunctional left foot.

Super happy, its a really great bike and a huge upgrade from the Sport Glide!!!

That's why I won't purchase the HD sissy bar. I'm giong with the Edward Richie, who provides the necessary hardware.
