Curious... How tall of a riser do you think you could put on before it sticks out over the windshield?

The riser that's on there stock is about 5" high. Another 5" and the bars would be about flush with the top of the windshield.

Quiet road tonight. Better not get into specifics, but these things are fast for what they are. Very stable. Getting comfortable with this bike. Suspension is excellent, best riding Harley I've been on. Stock headlight is very good. Stayed warm in 50 deg. weather, air pocket from faring is very good, wind stream to the chin no big deal with full face helmet. Love this bike, don't miss Ultra at all so far.

Thanks! Wife & I rode 4 hours on my old Super Glide to a dealer in Iowa to trade it in on the new '13 Super Glide, both ways primarily in the dark with the stock Super Glide seats (not great for passenger). That bike is a keeper, I feel like that general style of bike (including dynas and softails) started in the 80's and is gone now.

@jaymn any chance you could take a pic looking into the fairing from sitting on the bike? I haven't seen any pics of the inside of the faring just curious how it looks.
Great color and very cool ride indeed. Congrats on the new toy!

Thanks in advance . . .

Thanks! Here are a few pictures. The first is the view at eye level. The second is looking down into the "hole". The third is with the bars turned, showing why the hole exists in case anyone had any doubts about the need for it.

Love the look of the bike. I thought the short windshield could be an issue for some. Look back at what the height of the original FXRT fairing W/S was, pretty tall. I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with something even better than the tall HD offering. With my recently installed fairing on my Pan America (GASP!) I had the same issue. Settled on this height, 12" smoked, and I added a vent. Had I not gone to the trouble I did with the PA, I probably would have bought an ST. To all that have and will, Enjoy It!
