So it was an o ring on the exhaust pushrod that was not sealing. They fixed it quickly and does not seem to be an issue any longer. Thanks for all the knowledge guys... each one of you were pretty spot on in your diagnosis.
That's usually the culprit in these cases. Glad they got it sorted out for you.

Now you can just ride and have fun. Don't hit the wick too hard after you hit 2nd gear in a turn
