I posted it in that other thread about the new colors being out. Some of you liked it and some of you have no taste

My wife liked it so much I ditched her black '21 and bought her the very cool blue '22.

I like my motorcycles black, but I have to admit that black and blue combo looks really, really good.

 

Congrats. I really like that color combo. Especially on the Ultra models with the blacked out trim.

 

Does the 22' Heritage come with mag type wheels?

 

Some do, and it looks like spoke wheels are now a $400 option.

 

I like it! The blue looks nice against both the chrome parts and the black wheels.

 

I'm not a fan of the Heritage styling but that black and blue combo is very nice.

 

The long and short of it is, from what the dealer explained to me months ago, is that spokes are apparently a victim of the supply chain issues right now. So HD substituted the black cast as standard and the chrome spokes as the $400 upcharge. I like the cast style but I like chrome better. Assuming I shell out the $22-$23k I am already investigating local vendors that will do chrome plating on motorcycle wheels. ie: Instant CVO style!

From what I see in CycleTrader, most are shipping with the cast. You may have to take the bike with cast wheels, order the spokes and wait - if you really want that style. I suppose for only $400, you would have to give the cast wheels back??

Like them not, there will be a ton of them on the road this year. I would expect to see a good number of guys wanting to trade in the 'Marketplace'
