I'd stay with a quality brand and.........remember what sounds great to one person is annoying to another. If you buy el-cheapo and don't like it, you will have a hard time selling it.
Look for sound clips on YouTube.
Better yet try to attend a few bike nights and ask other riders if you can listen to their exhaust tone.......
Good Luck

Engine mods...... cams and such, along with aftermarket headers will produce different tones. Touring bikes mostly have 2-mufflers stock. Seems like M8 Softails come both single and twin mufflers, so exhaust tones will very between the two styles.
M8 single muffler Softails like the Sport Glide may be harder to find more examples.

I put Eliminator 300's on my 2019 Deluxe. I lost a ton of torque and had some random O2 faults. I installed quiet baffles, and that fixed the problem. While the E300's with quiet baffles are nice, they are very "polite". I wanted a tad more volume and a deeper tone, so I'm trying TTI's with no baffles, and both baffles with the packing removed. I started experimenting two days ago, so I'm a long way from making a determination. One thing I know for sure, the E300's with TTI's and no baffles are loud as hell.
