I mounted a pair of Rivco multi-application air horns. The manufacturer claims they can produce 128 dB, but I have no way of verifying it. They are definitely an improvement over the stock horn.

The first thing I changed on my LRS was the horn. Bought a Bosch horn that sounded exactly like the other horns I have on the Super Glide and on the Sportster.

Quick change, no mods required.

My problem isn’t the horn itself, it’s finding the damn button. There are no less than seven switches on the left side of the bars and all feel just alike. Trying to find the horn in a panic situation without looking for it is an exercise in futility. I invariably end up signaling a left turn instead of sounding the horn.
