Default Rear Tire for 2020 FXLR

Ordered a new rear tire ( Michelin Scorcher "31" for my LR April 1st, gave up on it coming in on time for Sturgis trip, so Fri ordered a set of Bridgestones. Originally was going with just a new rear tire but decided to also replace the front, can't wait to ride it with a new front tire that doesn't have an intermittent bounce between 50-60 mph.
Who would have thought replacing a rear tire was going to be such a pain. ssshhh.

Did you look into Metzeler Cruistec? That’s what I just installed on my FXLRS

Some sizes are getting hard to come by on short notice. Kind of a hit and miss one day they have them next they don't.

I would also consider the Pirelli Night Dragon. I've run them in the past and they were great. When it comes time to replace the tires on my FXLRS they will be my first choice.

Yeh other options, I'll see how the Bridgestones pan out, will have them next week. Happy for that, for a minute there I was thinking I might have to take the Honda to Sturgis.

I hear you. Glad you were able to find something in stock in time for your trip. That will be a good trip to evaluate those Bridgestones.

Which Bridgestones, the H50 which are intended for Harleys? They don't come in our front tire size though.

Just got a new tire for the rear this weekend from the dealer, no waiting.

Where were you trying to get a tire?

Yeh the H50 Battlecruiser, the front however is a 100/90 19 instead of the 110. The best part is I don't have that intermittent bounce between 50-62 mph anymore.
