Not at all, that's why the Sport Glide and fwd controls works for me!

One of the only benefits of being 5'8" is I never feel cramped on any bike. lol

Those R18s do have a L O N G rake!

I test rode one, the ergos sucked. Nice for garage art but not a serious rider.. The dealer was very happy to let me ride it as they had a few sitting... I came home with a Triumph..
