At least that's what the guy at Ultimate Seats basically had to say about the inexpensive use of open cell foam in HD stock seats and that pending body weight?...you're comfortable for about an hour and then the foam is compressed to the point that you are basically sitting on the seat pan.

I weigh only 154 and couldn't stand the stock seat for more than 40 minutes at a time. It wasn't the foam, it was the rearward slope of the seating surface that compressed my spine against the seat back, causing a pressure point that made me feel as if all my weight was on my tail bone.
Of course another key aspect it their surface area - how they distribute the weight evenly over a wider area. Then there's the foam that's used etc. etc...

Yes I do have some junk in the trunk so that helps.
There will be no twerking in my future.
