I plan to run hose under the frame and no filter.

That is like on my last picture, the FXBB have a straight line that goes under the frame.

What did you use to plug that hole in the backplate that the original tube ran through to the throttle body?

Lets think about this: Catch can probably 1 tablespoon every 5K miles.
Now factor in running a good fuel system cleaner every few tanks, I see no need for the catch can on these newer models.

Mine gets a decent amount of water every few hard rides , it's mounted bottom front of my bike were I can just screw it off and empty it.

There is no hole in neither one of them I showed on the pictures above, but if you mean the aftermarket ac, that have grooves in where normally a rubber mushroom ( I call it like that ) with
a tube on goes to the throttle body. You do not need to do anything with that since the bolts are altered, it is to much text to type but take a look at my mods section on my website thru the
link in my sig. Browse them and you will prob get the answer you looking for.

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing! Anyone want an aluminum finish DK catch-can?
